Greyhawk 4E: Cryllor
Orcs, called in the Flan tongue euroz, are common across the Flanaess. Their culture tends to be undisciplined and savage; arts and culture are not strongly valued by them in favor of a might-makes-right, take-what-you-wish ideology and reverence for their vicious and hateful god, Grummsh.
In the area around Cryllor, there are a number of villages of euroz up in the Joten Mountains. It is believed that they all are interrelated in one fashion or another, possibly all from one original tribe, but they have internecine skirmishes regularly, when not raiding into human lands, especially up into the County of Flen and down into the Yeomanry, though some occasionally cross the Javan and raid the lands near Cryllor.
Of late, certain rumors have come from those in the know – rangers and dwarves who venture into the Jotens – that the orcish clans are gathering again, being drawn together in organization. Whether this is at the hands of a particularly canny orcish warlord or if it is at the behest of some other leader is as yet unknown…
